About Me...
​Hi, my name is Jenny, and I am a 28-year-old mum of one, based in Norfolk, UK. After facing redundancy just weeks before my maternity leave, I built this website to share my story and how it left me feeling useless, vulnerable and worthless.
I would also like to meet others along the way who have found themselves in similar situations, and we can build a diverse community together. This means supporting one another, sharing relevant stories and relatable content to embrace every unique journey into the world of juggling work and parenthood.

I aim to connect with other parents who are navigating the journey of redundancy, return to work, or discrimination in the workplace following starting a family. My mission is to provide support and encouragement for those impacted by layoffs and a lack of understanding, or flexibility within their field of work.
Empower
Empowering individuals to make informed decisions and choices that align with their values and beliefs is at the core of my mission. I strive to provide resources, guidance, and a sense of community to empower parents to gain confidence following redundancy, returning to work, or dealing with discrimination.

I aspire to cultivate a community that celebrates the diversity of parenting experiences and fosters learning. By sharing personal stories, insights, and practical advice, I aim to create a supportive environment where individuals can learn from each other and help each other grow. We are all in this together.
